Open Calls - Comedians
We’re looking for the funniest undiscovered stand-up comedians to perform at a major comedy club in Manhattan, NYC. All comedians will be taped at this show, and the top 3 comedians with the best performance sets will be selected, and their footage used in our film.
We offer full credit and free soft drinks for comics, but no pay upfront. The movie will be submitted to numerous major film festivals and will be considered for DVD distribution. If the film is picked up by a distributor, all comics used get a % of the back-end sales. The club’s rules ask comedians to have 7 friends/family members come watch and support them. It’s also a great opportunity for comics to perform on a prime-time show and be seen by the comedy club’s personnel.
